INTRODUCTION

Deep South is the fascinating state of Tamil Nadu, founded by the Drvidians over 5,000 years ago; the state is the home of some of the most ancient architectural beauties and sculptures in the world. Now Chennai, India's forth-largest city, renamed with Chennai in 1997. Chennai is modern as well as it is caring history of its own cultural and artistic life.

ITINERARY:
Day-01: Arrive Chennai
Arrive Madras, the site of East India Company's first settlement and now the largest city in South India. You will be met and transferred to your Hotel.
Day-02: Chennai
Morning excursion to Mahablipuram, a major sea port of the great Pallava Kings between 08 and 10th century AD, Noted for its rock carvings and the shore temple. Overnight hotel.
Day-03: Chennai - Trichy
Morning visit the city including Fort st. George and st. Mary's church. In the afternoon travel to Trichy by Pallavan express train. Overnight hotel.
Day-04: Trichy
Visit Trichy in the morning, once the citadel of the Chola dynasty and now a thriving commercial centre. You will see the Rock Fort Temple, perched atop a hill, with a magnificent view of the city and the river Cauvery and the Srirangam temple complex, one of the largest in India, built on an island. Overnight hotel.
Day-05: Tanjore - Madurai
In the morning drive to Tanjore to see the magnificent Chola Temple of Brithadeshwara, a world heritage monument. Drive on to Madurai, the over two thousand year old Capital of the Pandyan Kings. Overnight hotel.
Day-06: Madurai
Visit Meenakshi Temple during "Puja" ceremony, this superb example of the Dravida School of Architecture is known for its profusely carved and gigantic gateways, afternoon explore this ancient city. Overnight hotel.
Day-07: Madurai - Kodaikanal
Morning drive to the beautiful hill station of Kodaikanal. Overnight hotel.
Day 08 : Kodaikanal
Full day at leisure. Kodaikanal is ideal for walks. Overnight hotel.
Day 09 : Kodaikanal - Perior
After breakfast drive to the lush green wildlife sanctuary of periyar. Enjoy a boat cruise in the afternoon to see herds of wild elephants and other wildlife. Overnight hotel.
Day 10 : Perior
Full day at leisure. Overnight hotel.
Day 11 : Perior - Quilon
A four-hour descent through rubber, cardamom and concount plantations, brings you to the tropical planins of Kerala. Enjoy a fascinating 3-hrs cruise on the famous back waters from Kottayam to Allepey and view village life along the banks. A short drive will take you to Quilon, known for cashew, coir and marine products. Overnight at guest house.
Day 12 : Quilon
A full day local sightseeing. Overnight at guest house.
Day 13 : Quilon - Cochin
Morning visit the sights including Jewish Synagogue and the Dutch Palace. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight hotel.
Day 14 : Cochin - Bombay
Morning fly to Bombay. On arrival proceed for sightseeing of Bombay visiting Gateway of India, Dhobi Ghat, Rajabai Clock Tower, Marine Drive, Aquarium, Hanging Garden, Crawford market, Victoria Terminus and the Prince of Wales museum. Transfer to airport in time to catch flight for return destination.
