Gandhinagar
Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat, rises on the west bank of the river Sabarmati, about 32 km north east of Ahmedabad. It is a well - planned city, divided into a total of 30 sectors. Some of the interesting places, here, are :

Akshardham
It is the most famous temple of the Swaminarayan sect. The temple is built of pinkstones, adorned with exquisite carvings.
