Tourist Village Just half an hour's drive from Thiruvananthapuram city,
is an extremely popular tourist village at Veli. Landscaped gardens, gigantic
sculptures, water sports and a floating restaurant are the main attractions.
Ponmudi 61 kms from Thiruvananthapuram, this hill
station is a trekker's paradise. Comfortable stone cottages and guest houses,

An intricate network of canals and lakes, makes this backwater district unique.
Famous for its exhilarating boat races, Alappuzha comes alive in the months of
August and September. While you are here, do shop for coir mats and rugs.
Kottayam Dotted with churches and covered with
rubber plantations, Kottayam is one of Kerala's most prosperous cities. Periyar
Wildlife Sanctuary is 114 km from here. Kumarakom bird sanctuary is just 16 km
from here. Kochi It is Kerala's commercial
centre. It has a fine natural harbour. Palaces, Chinese fishing nets, islands
and a Jewish Synagogue are some of the attractions. Visit the Mattanchery Palace,
St.Francis Church, Wellington Island, Bolgatty Island and Hill Palace Museum.
Munnar 145 km from Kochi, the Munnar hills are
largely blanketed by tea plantations. The only intrusions in the velvety, overwhelming
silence are the gurgling streams and occasional calls of wild animals. Munnar
is approximately 1600 metres above sea level, and lies adjacent to the highest

Cheruthuruthy is 35 km north of Trichur, the cultural capital of Kerala, and 47
km south of Palghat. Blessed with River Bharatapuzha (known also as River Nila),
Cheruthuruthy is exceptionally rich in its many splendoured colourful cultural
resources, and has many things to offer not only to foreign tourists but also
to the Indian lot who miss the warmth of village. Kozhikode
Vasco da Gama's arrival at Kappad beach made this ancient city, famous all over
the world. Today it is a major commercial centre, with a well - planned town and
all modern amenities. Visit the Pazhassi Raja Museum, Lokannarkavu Temple, Kalarippayattu
centre, Kathakali Vidyalayam and Beypore Port. Bekal
79 km from Kannur, Bekal has one of the largest forts in Kerala. This ancient
structure overlooking the sea, continues to draw hordes of visitors from all over
