Use toilets wherever they are available. 

Choose your toilet site in inhabited areas after informing the local inhabitants, the same applies to the use of portable toilets during treks etc.

Take care not to contaminate any water source, by choosing a toilet site close to it. Take a place at least 150 meters away from any such source.
